Matthew Mitcham is an Australian diver who made a splash as the only openly gay competitor at the Beijing Olympics. He took gold, having received the highest single-dive score in Olympic history.
Matthew finished his training at 9am and jumped "straight" on the phone to talk to the Hump Day Crew about life after the Olympics, the support of his boyfriend and trampolining.
He is also nominated for Sports Performer of the Year. Vote now at www.performerawards.com.au. Voting is open until 5pm (EST) 21 November 2008.
