NICA Teaches The Hump Day Crew A Few Circus Tricks

Did you know that the methology behind being a circus performer is to learn about injuries? Why? Because when you eventually are bruised or have serious rope burn, you can explain exactly how you got it....and in future, perhaps avoid it from happening again. These were the first encouraging words Adz and Ginni heard when they set out to NICA.

Tom and Shaun, graduating students from NICA, taught them the aerial hoop, the trapeze and a few tricks involving juggling and coordination.

Click on the videos below.

Free Hugs from The Hump Day Crew

Sometimes, a hug is all we need.

Free hugs is a real life controversial story of Juan Mann, a man with a sole mission of reaching out and hugging a stranger to brighten up their lives.

In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign became phenomenal.

As this symbol of human hope spread across the city, police and officials ordered the Free Hugs campaign BANNED. What we then witness is the true spirit of humanity come together in what can only be described as awe inspiring.

The Hump Day Crew, in an attempt to spread the love around Melbourne, sent out their guests - the contests for the Heaven's Door Calendar Competition, out onto the streets of the CDB to hug as many people as they could.

A spectacular West Australian show that is known around the globe having recently toured China and Malaysia to sell out shows. Absolute Kylie’s (aka Sarah Harmony) rise to success (and uncanny resemblance to the real Kylie) has been featured in numerous international, national and local media articles and television shows; most recently she was seen on 'Australia's Got Talent' and given a big thumbs up and an advancement to the next round by someone who knows Kylie very well, Dannii Minogue! Dannii praised Sarah in both her physical resemblance to Kylie as well as her performance commenting “I have seen a lot of people impersonate my sister around the world... you look very similar to her, the costumes are fantastic….you’re a good showgirl and you put on a good show!”
