Aunty Rachel Shelley

Season 2 of Showtime's hit series, "The L Word," introduced us the femme fatale, rich daughter of Peggy - Helena Peabody. Although we may not have warmed to her character when she first appeared (heaven forbid anyone that comes in between Bette and Tina) - by the conclusion of Season 6, Rachel Shelley's touch on the character made her a show favourite.

I found out she is quite good at accents, telling jokes and is not really a fan of reality shows.

Why do I call her "Aunty" Rachel Shelley - well click here and you'll find out!

The Stunning Sheetal Sheth

We fell in love with her character when she graced our big screen at the Melbourne Queer Film Festival here in Australia in "The World Unseen," and "I Can't Even Think Straight."

However, there's been quite an electic range of movies Sheetal Sheth has appeared in.

Making her debut on the big screen playing the lead in ABCD, her passion for acting ignited to see her enroll in the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University.

I had the priviledge of interviewing and found her to be charismatic, intelligent and strong. I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I did.

Club Skirts The Dinah: Set to Sizzle in 2011

You may have heard Nat Z and I subtly mention about our upcoming trip to the USA - you know where we spoke about how we are going to hit New York City, Los Angeles and Palm Springs....oh and did we forget to mention we are going to be at the biggest lesbian party in the world with over 10,000 from all over the globe?

To get us even more excited, I had a chat to Club Skirts founder, Mariah Hanson. Along with a few handy tips for us Dinah Virgins on how to handle the heat that is going to be the Dinah Shore party weekend, she shares the stellar line up of Natasha Beddingfield, Aussie favourite Luciana and of course, a Hump Day Crew favourite - L Word Star Laurel Hollaman.

I Like That Luciana's on The Hump Day Crew

She's sizzled our shores with her catchy lyrics and her infectious charisma. Conquering our dance charts with singles, "I Like That," Luciana's talents extend to writing songs for our very own Kylie Minogue and my big crush - Miss Nicole Scherzinger. Although her name is Nicole and she's made many a bottle pop, Luciana's lyrics have an equally hypnotic charm and originality that entertains and engages in a way only Luciana can.

Now, with the Australian ARIA charts at the mercy of her songs, she's off to conquer Los Angeles and headlines the iconic Club Skirts' Dinah Shore Pool Party. With another realease on the brinks, we may as well shut our mouths and GO GO GO with the Luciana flow.

I had the wonderful pleasure of chatting to Luciana to which the editing took me over an hour to cut out all the laughter! An enjoyable and hilarious interview with an infectious talent.

Laurel Holloman - an artistic all rounder

We all experienced her extensive character growth of the trials and tribulations of the loveable Tina on The L Word - but just when we taught that Laurel Holloman couldn't be more talented - it seems she is quite an exceptional painter.
With a BA from the University of North Carolina, Laurel's painting talents took a backseat when her acting talents were discovered in the theatre production of "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter."
Recently, Laurel took a solid 4 months of acting to put all her focus into painting - which produced some amazing paintings which are available for purchase on her webiste - www.laurelhollomanstudio.net
Managing 2 kids and a heavy schedule, Laurel generously gave up her time to stop by The Hump Day Crew to chat to Ginni - download podcast here.
